miyoFrom the makers of Copilot for Obsidian·1M+ downloads
miyo pulls your ChatGPT and Claude conversations from the web and the mobile apps onto your disk as plain markdown. Pick them up later in any AI you want.
Going to Lisbon for 5 days in June with my partner. Help us plan.
Day 1 Alfama (Sé, sunset miradouro, fado). Day 2 Belém. Day 3 Bairro Alto. Day 4 Sintra. Day 5 Time Out Market.
No seafood — swap for Cais do Sodré?
Try Boa-Bao (pan-Asian) or Ao 26 for vegetarian — both walkable from the market.

Pick up the Lisbon trip — let's flesh out the Sintra day.
Your Day 4 in the plan was already Sintra. Take the early train from Rossio (~40 min), hit Pena Palace first to beat the crowds, then Quinta da Regaleira, lunch in Sintra Vila.
Point miyo at your Obsidian vault or any folder. Now Claude, ChatGPT, or any other AI can read and write your own files. No copy-paste, no uploads.

Works with every agent you use. Not just ChatGPT. miyo plugs into Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and any other local agent.
“Miyo lets me index super large vaults that would crash anything else, and the retrieval quality is far superior. It's just a genius product.”
“Smooth, fast back-and-forth with Claude on my phone, using my Obsidian vault as a 'second brain' I can reach at all times.”
“Read + write on your vault through Claude mobile and Claude AI. Context unified across every interface, and you can extract anything useful from chats back into your vault.”
The miyo desktop app is free. Connecting it to ChatGPT or Claude needs miyo relay.

A lot. As one example, the free miyo browser extension can pull your ChatGPT and Claude chat history onto your computer as plain markdown.
Separately, you can point miyo at any folder on your disk for it to index: notes, research, screenshots, code, whatever you want. Obsidian vaults work too, but your md files don't have to be in an Obsidian vault. miyo works with any folder, and understands PDFs, EPUBs, spreadsheets, and more out of the box.
Whatever's in there becomes context any AI agent can use, whether it's OpenClaw, Hermes, or whatever new agent ships next month.
Everything from the free version, plus the direct ChatGPT/Claude link that lets their web and mobile apps use your local miyo folder remotely as their persistent long-term memory. Prioritized support is included too.
ChatGPT's memory lives in ChatGPT, only ChatGPT can read it. miyo's memory lives on your computer and works across every AI you use. Switch from ChatGPT to Claude and the new one already knows you.
Only the folder you point it at. No background scans, no cloud uploads. You pick the folder the first time you run miyo and that's the boundary.
No. The desktop app is free, no account or card needed. miyo relay ($4.99/mo) is only required to connect miyo to ChatGPT or Claude.
miyo runs a small local server that ChatGPT and Claude can talk to, using the standard protocol they both support for outside tools. You sign in to miyo relay, link the AI once, and it can read from your miyo folder during chats. Your computer that runs miyo must stay on as the server.
The desktop app keeps working. You lose the ChatGPT/Claude connection until you resubscribe. Your data stays where it is, in files on your computer.
miyo is a small tray app. It only reads files in the folder you chose, only when an AI asks. No constant scanning, no background indexing of anything else.
Download miyo free. No account, no card. The relay plan is only there if you want the ChatGPT/Claude link.
